Who is planet Jack?

Planet Jack is a group of five musicians, some of whom have been playing together for over twenty years. Bruce, Jack, Ira and Clif went to college together at UCSD. They have been friends for a long, long time. Craig and Clif live two houses away from each other and have been the rhythm section for Mango Bay, playing all over San Diego for years.

Bruce - Having a passion for music and performing since being a young teen, Bruce has a fine voice and is both co-lead singer and guitarist.

Bruce keeps busy biking to faraway destinations, gardening, and working as an agency Director in the Childrens' Behavioral Health field.

Clif - Teaching college and playing with his kids keeps Clif busy enough.  He is a co-founder of the band Mango Bay and has been performing around San Diego for over ten years now.  You can see his kids' site at Fishing With The Kids. Spends his other time fishing, surfing, and helping people with Internet Businesses.

Craig - Performing around San Diego for years, Craig has been providing the beat for many dancing feet.  Being a Health-care professional keeps Craig very busy during the week, but he always has energy for rockin' shows with Planet Jack.

Ira - Spending his time divided between playing tunes, travelling the world to live musical events, and perfecting his golf game, Ira spends his time divided between Newport Beach and San Diego.  Ira is also an excellent chef and is enjoying the retired life.  Not bad!

Jack - Literally living on three "planets" at once, Jack as a professional tennis coach divides his time between San Diego, New York City, and the French Riviera. Jack adds a fine voice and unique musical style to the Planet Jack band.
